This is a time for lament. Rev. Benjamin Cremer in a recent email newsletter defined the goal of lament as: “Making space for grief in all its forms to be heard in the hope for positive change to come.” This is also a time for a renewed and persistent commitment to nonviolence and love in the name and way of Jesus.
